I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
This weeks challenge is my second favorite to do (my first favorite is macro!) I LOVE the way you can turn such an ordinary picture into black and white - making that photo a really awesome photograph! Can wait to see what everyone has posted! Happy Mothers Day! -Rachel
You said it exactly, B & W makes the ordinary spectacular. I love the photos of your horses. The way their energy seems to align with each other. Makes me appreciate how B & W cuts to the essence in a photo.
Looks like the chicken was a hit! how did I get that shot? After MANY MANY tries she finally stood still long enough for me to take the picture. Mari i had to post nicks picture its one of my favorites! Thanks everyone!
Great pictures! Is that a Brittney I see? I grew up with them and loved hunting with them. They make great family love-bugs as well. The chicken shot made me laugh. That's about all I can get of my chickens. They always get right up in the camera because they think it's holding snacks.:)
Thanks again guys! Yeah my chicken Pepper is a real Diva and a camera hog! LOL I love that picture - its one of those either you love it or you hate it cause it scares you! LOL I do believe that Nick there is a Brittney...I'll have to ask his owner - umm I mean pet - Mari! Cant wait for this weeks challenge!

That chicken shot is great, a classic. Very nice, how did you capture that so well?

Thanks for dropping by, it was a close call between the dog and the dandelion, until I saw the human-sized chicken! What a shot! Made me laugh.

Really good shots. That chicken is getting up close and personal. I especially like the RR crossing sign.
I'm thinking I missed you the first few times around and now that chicken is out to get me.
We are getting to be a large crowd, aren't we?
